we got a gig from some anonymous dude to go in and steal her. it wasn't something we usually did but they paid up front and the boss figured it'd be good training for me. i was... 10?

i got to pretend to be the lost kid of some new maid and wander around. lured the lady out of her quarters before the boss knocked her out. we were in and out before anyone knew better.

turns out the lady herself was our client. she fell in love with some farmer a few territories over a couple years earlier during some trip. it worked out in the end.

even if i was involved i still like it

i decided that a couple weeks back

Like... I don't know. I didn't hear many stories.

My best friend back home is a wolf, though. And a troublemaker. He has saved and helped a lot of people. Can't help himself.

And I'm always covering for him.

He's pretty heroic, actually. He stopped a bear who killed a classmate of ours and his good friend. But because he ate my right foot, he wasn't allowed to take credit for it, so I had to. I didn't really like this idea.

He begged me to come witness the fight, and I almost missed it all.

But he stopped him. He stopped this guy from hurting anyone else, and blacklisted himself from being able to do anything for the sake of others.

I told him to. Meat helps carnivores. So...he was losing. And I didn't want him to die...so that's what I had to offer. It's why I have a prosthetic.
